'Fire On The Mountain' Show In Peril |
|
 KTHS Photo
The July 4th Fireworks Celebration atop Saunders Heights in Berryville, may not be able to be pulled off unless the community, businesses and individuals, come together and help with the cost. Above, Rex Wisdom, Ginger Oaks, and Regina Williams, Fire on the Mountain Committee members, appealed to the Berryville City Council to commit to helping finance the $6,000 show. The Council did commit to $3,000 which leaves another $3,000 to be raised from the community. Wisdom told the Council the company they want to contract with this year will set off the fireworks show electronically, to music synchronized with a KTHS broadcast. Anyone wishing to contribute to insure Fire On The Mountain continues from the top of Saunders Heights, can do so at City Hall. Write Comment (1 comments) |
