The Berryville Board of Education met for its regular monthly meeting, July 19, in the High School Library.

Members Present:  Sharon Ary, Vonda Bailey, Jack Edens, Gordon Hale, Shannon Hill, & Joe                                                                                            Ward

Members Absent:  Jeff Miles

The minutes and financial reports were approved by the Board.

The Board approved the Fundraiser Request as listed:

                        G/T – Sell Hot Chocolate/Mocha

                        G/T – Hold Baked Potato Lunches

FBLA – Sell Muffins & Water

                        SR High Cheerleaders – Sell Rubber Bracelets, Cheer & Chomp Pom Poms

                        JR & SR High Cheerleaders – Sell Pepsi @ Price Cutter

The Board approved an additional $550 to Harness Roofing for roof repairs.

The Board approved the following items that were listed on the agenda:

            Bread Bid for 2010-11 submitted by Hostess Brands

Student Transfer Requests for 2010-11

The Board received Student Recognitions for a student who had participated in the Shiner Student Camp at Ozark Natural Science Center this summer. 

The Board received a report regarding the number of computers in the district as requested at the previous month’s meeting.

Dr. Byrd gave the Board a report, as requested at the previous month’s meeting, of the District’s Legal Balances.  The report showed the last eight year’s Legal Balances.  The current year’s Legal Balance of $2,155,969 is higher than any of the previous years shown on the report.  The eight year’s balances are:
