Emergency personnel responded to the scene of a one-vehicle roll-over accident Wednesday afternoon around 1:45pm, near Alpena.

According to Capt. Alan Hoos with the C.C. Sheriffs office, the accident was approximately ½ to ¾ of a mile west of Alpena.

The accident report is still not available from Arkansas State Police, but we do know the accident involved three adults and two children.  All were transported to area hospitals from the scene by helicopter and ambulance.

Personnel were on the scene around 90 minutes and traffic along Highway 62 was backed up in both directions for sometime.
