The Ozarks Chorale is starting a new fall season with a Potluck Supper, Sat., Sept. 11, 4-6pm.  For all singers, old members and new ones.  Bring a frind.  Grassy Knob Community Center, Hwy. 62W from E.S. to Hwy. 187 south of Beaver Lake Dam and Park. 
CC AARP meeting, Monday, Sept. 13, 10am at the H.I. Clubhouse.
  The program will be presented by Clint Miller.  His topic of discussion will be earthquakes and how they could affect this area.

Storytime for children will be offered on Thursdays beginning September 16 from 9:30-11 at the BV Public Library.  Fun time of reading books, learning silly rhymes, creating crafts, eating yummy treats and making new friends.  Storytime is for children 2-5 years.

St. John's and the Sheriff's office collecting unused, expired or unwanted prescriptions for proper disposal. 

USDA, NRCS, and Carroll County Conservation District - is having a Food Drive through August 31.  Canned food and fresh produce can be dropped off between the hours of 8:30am and 3pm at the Conservation Office.

C.C. Literacy Council seeking additional volunteers to tutor adults in basic reading, writing, math and English.  Call 423-4500 to find out how you can help

Tax Books Opened March 1 for the collection of 2009 Real Estate and Personal Property Taxes.  Tax Books will remain open through October 12 for payment without penalty.


Osage Baptist Church would like to invite you to Celebrate Recovery every Thursday night at 7pm. Child care and refreshments.
